BACKGROUND
Comico, a Korean comic reading application, is making its debut in Thailand, offering a diverse range of comics from around the world. Our goal is to enhance awareness and establish meaningful connections with our audience.
IDEA
We created an animated TV commercial featuring a well-known comic character immersed in the Thai local setting, capturing the essence of Thai people, society, and culture. This contrast highlighted the first-time arrival of these comic characters, marking the debut of the application.
The first story is about how Thais get overly excited by weird creatures and objects in general because they can try to see if they can get some numbers to play the illegal lotto. The second film talks about Bangkok traffic that it is so bad even the most badass mafia from “Del Vento” cannot even get away from it.
